Moracle Foundation and The Bridge Renewal Trust have been awarded a contract to be Haringey Council's Strategic Partner for the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) with effect from February 2016 for a period of up to four years!  In its role as Haringey Council's official 'Strategic Partner', Moracle Foundation and The Bridge Renewal Trust will be working closely together, to ensure the local voluntary sector is stronger, and able to attract more external funding and here at Moracle Foundation we're better placed to use our grass roots expertise to provide quality services that will meet the needs of all the residents.

Co-operation with Transitions London

We are more than happy to announce our collaboration with Transitions London which is a specialist non-profit careers and employment service in London, specializing in supporting supporting refugee engineers, accountants and administrators. Transitions London will identify suitable candidates and arrange with us initial interview with these possible beneficiaries. We will then provide occupational supervision, training and set up and co-ordinate interviews with our accountancy clients if we will reach mutual agreement with the candidate on our collaboration.

London Training and Employment Network

Moracle Foundation continues to share its expertise in Financial and Accounting training. It has recently trained Florence Olasehinde from London Training and Employment Network (LTEN) in a variety of key areas such as month and year end accounting procedures, management accounts and preparation of schedules for external auditors. Mindfully Wired Communications

Moracle Foundation has assisted Mindfully Wired Communications with various tasks including the filing of Statutory Accounts and Annual return with Companies House. Mindully Wired Communications is non-profit communications consultancy organization focusing on sustainability issues. Nahid, one of our beneficiaries, is currently undergoing her voluntary bookkeeping traineeship at Mindfully Wired to gain her accountancy experience and profession training.

Justice Africa  

Justice Africa, London-based international NGO, benefited from a professional work of one of our beneficiaries who helped them with updating their accounting records. This story is another example of what we consider as a best practice - by matching our beneficiaries with charities and charitable organizations in need of accountancy services the whole community can benefit - our beneficiaries with gaining their first experiences and accountancy skills and third sector organizations with developing their accounting systems.

Chairman of Moracle Foundation at Waltham Forest College Employer Career Day

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) had a stand at Employer Career Day organized by Waltham Forest College and our Chairman Morlai Kargbo was part of the team helping on the stand and answering queries from students about ACCA and also ‘telling his story’.




Speech at the Charity Accounting Event

Our Chairman Morlai Kargbo was a guest speaker at the ACCA North London charity accounting event where he spoke about charity reporting and accounting. He gave the latest update on the new charity accounting framework which belongs to a fundemental knowledge for charities and thus represents highly valuable day-to-day knowledge.

We can proudly announce that the Chairman of Moracle Foundation Morlai Kargbo is continuing with his active involvement in the global body for professional accountants – the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and has become a panel member of regional network – the ACCA North London. Regional panel membership is an elected position within the ACCA which enables you to act as an ambassador, to advise and represent ACCA.
